Marc Theermann, CEO of Dynamic Creatures, is building a new category of guest-facing character robots. A seasoned robotics strategist and executive, Marc has over two decades of experience scaling breakthrough technologies into global commercial businesses.

As the former Chief Strategy Officer at Boston Dynamics, Marc transformed the world-renowned research lab into a commercial powerhouse. He pioneered the market for legged robotics and established a global GTM infrastructure that generated hundreds of millions in revenue, deploying and servicing advanced robotic systems at scale. His career includes senior leadership roles at Google, Millennial Media, and AdMeld.
Today, Marc is a leading voice in the robotics industry, recognized for bridging the gap between embodied AI and real-world value to redefine the future of immersive guest experiences.

Dr. Farbod Farshidian
Dr. Farbod Farshidian, CTO of Dynamic Creatures, is an internationally recognized researcher in robotics and machine learning whose academic impact places him among the top 1% of researchers globally in the field.
Formerly a Lead Research Scientist at the Robotics and AI Institute (RAI), Farbod has led teams developing learning-based control systems for highly dynamic robots. His work included breakthroughs in agile humanoid behaviors for Boston Dynamics’ Atlas robot, high-speed quadrupedal locomotion, and the transfer of complex robotic skills from simulation to real-world hardware.

With more than 70 research publications and over 5,966 citations, Dr. Farshidian has made significant contributions to robotics and control. His work has an h-index of 42, reflecting both the breadth of his research and the sustained influence of his contributions across the field.

Farbod earned his Ph.D. from ETH Zurich, where his research focused on motion planning and control for legged robots. Throughout his career, he has bridged rigorous control theory with modern machine learning, translating cutting-edge research into robust, real-world robotic capabilities.
